What Is Happening?

Palestine

Many families in Palestine have experienced displacement due to conflict and damage to homes and neighborhoods. Access to food, clean water, electricity, healthcare, and education has been severely disrupted in many areas. Hospitals and medical services have faced immense strain, and many children have grown up amid recurring violence, uncertainty, and loss.

Sudan

The ongoing conflict in Sudan has forced millions of people to flee their homes, often leaving behind their belongings and livelihoods. Many displaced families live in temporary shelters or overcrowded camps and struggle to obtain food, clean water, medicine, and healthcare. The conflict has also disrupted schools, businesses, and agricultural production, contributing to widespread hunger and economic hardship.

Nigeria

Many communities in Nigeria face persistent poverty, unemployment, and limited access to quality healthcare and education. In some regions, insecurity and violence have displaced families and disrupted daily life. Food insecurity affects millions of people, while some rural communities still lack reliable access to clean drinking water, medical facilities, and educational resources.

Bangladesh

Many people in Bangladesh face challenges related to poverty, overcrowding, and vulnerability to floods and severe weather. Seasonal flooding can damage homes, schools, farmland, and infrastructure, making it difficult for families to maintain stable incomes. Some communities struggle with access to healthcare, sanitation, and educational opportunities, particularly in rural and disaster-prone areas.

Our Mission

Behind these challenges are millions of individuals and families striving for safety, dignity, education, healthcare, and the opportunity to build a better future. Our goal is to support organizations that provide relief and long-term assistance to communities facing these hardships.

Why Art?

Art has always been political. How could it not be, when it reflects both the artist and those who collect it? Throughout history, art has been used to document events, preserve stories, challenge injustice, inspire resistance, and educate future generations. It serves as a record of human experiences and gives voice to perspectives that might otherwise go unheard. As human beings, it is our responsibility to observe and reflect on the world, and that is best done through expression as artists and collectors. Zaman's Art aims to represent and give support to those who cannot speak for themselves.
